WebTrader guide
Every part of the trading screen, every order type and every shortcut to managing positions.
The WebTrader runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. There is nothing to install, and protection orders keep working on our servers when the page is closed.
The screen

Order types
- Market: fills immediately. Buys fill at the ask, sells at the bid.
- Limit: waits for a better price. Buy limits go below the market, sell limits above.
- Stop: waits for a breakout. Buy stops go above the market, sell stops below.
Stops and targets are checked against the side of the book you would exit on: a long position is closed at the bid.
Editing protection
Type a new stop or target into the positions table and press Enter. The platform rejects levels that are already through the current price, so a mistyped stop cannot close your trade by accident.
Closing
- Close on a row closes that position at the market.
- Close all closes every open position. Positions on closed markets are skipped and reported.
When orders are refused
You will see a short message explaining why, for example:
- the market is closed (weekends for forex; outside US hours for shares),
- there is no live price for the instrument at the moment,
- free margin is not enough for the size,
- a restricted news window is active (funded Standard accounts),
- the account has ended.
Install it on your phone
Open Mobile app in the trader area to add the platform to your home screen. It then opens full screen like any other app.
